A levels in the relevant subjects with technical training in physics, chemistry, engineering, or related fields Experience working with thin film coating techniques, such as physical vapor deposition (PVD) or sputtering
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in physics, chemistry, engineering, or related fields

Ability to operate and maintain complex and sophisticated thin film coating equipment Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings for the thin film coatings Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of personnel and customers in both written and verbal forms A good problem solver
